1. About Snapfile

Snapfile.uk ("Snapfile", "we", "us", "our") is a WhatsApp-based income and expense tracking service designed for UK sole traders. By using Snapfile, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Snapfile is intended for use by UK-based sole traders, freelancers, and self-employed individuals aged 18 or over. By signing up, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

3. Service description

Snapfile provides tools via WhatsApp to help you log income and expenses, scan receipts, extract VAT information, and generate quarterly summaries. Snapfile is a record-keeping tool and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. You should always consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser before making financial decisions.

4. Not financial advice

Snapfile is not a regulated financial service. The information and summaries we provide are for record-keeping purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of VAT calculations or expense categorisations. You are responsible for verifying all information before submitting anything to HMRC or any other authority.

5. Your account

Your Snapfile account is linked to your WhatsApp number. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for all activity that occurs through your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, please contact us immediately at hello@snapfile.uk.

6. Data and privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, store, and use your data. All data is stored securely in the UK and we are fully GDPR compliant.

7. Pricing and payments

Our Free plan is available at no cost with usage limits. Paid plans (Lite and Pro) are billed monthly. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snapfile for any unlawful purpose, to store fraudulent records, to attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the service, or to send abusive or harmful content through WhatsApp to our service.

9. Limitation of liability

Snapfile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from inaccurate data extraction, service interruptions, or your reliance on information provided by the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of Snapfile after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
